When It Rains...

Summer disappeared and the pouring rain arrived quite suddenly in Melbourne. Perfect for a little fabric time, so I pulled out my Marmalade layer cake and got cutting.

Star Blossoms is a pattern from Cotton Way, one of the designers of the gorgeous fabric. I've sorted all my squares into pairs and cut the first few; I think this is going to take a while!

It may take awhile but it's going to be very pretty.
We have your sun, yay....fnally, after weeks of crappy grey skies. Today was perfect!

Exciting times. It's always wonderful to start handling and working with new fabric. Cherrie

Yesterday was the perfect crafting day. I got up before the sparrows to make my way to Melbourne for Urban Stitches with the Creative Abundance team at the Novotel in Glen Waverley. A great day, money spent and I actually got a little stitchery finished.
Good weather for it.

If rain means relief from the heat then good. A perfect day to play with fabric. Can't wait to see your new quilt come together.
